One seriously injured in crash

       One person was seriously injured in a single-vehicle accident shortly before 10 a.m. this morning.  The accident occurred on Olive Branch Road just east of Runyon Road in northwestern Johnson County.  The driver, who was the only occupant, struck a tree head-on and was entrapped in the vehicle.  Firefighters from White River Township Fire Department used heavy extrication equipment to remove the victim who was subsequently transported to the Wishard Trauma Center in Indianapolis via ambulance.  No other information was available other than the driver was unconscious as the scene.
