Fire heavily damages home

       Twenty-four firefighters from White River Township and another eight from Greenwood battled a blaze inside a home in the 4800 Block of Altair Court shortly before noon today.  The first arriving unit found heavy fire conditions emitting from the garage area of the single-family ranch-style home.  Although the fire was brought under control quickly, it caused severe damage to a majority of the structure.  The home was occupied at the time of the fire, but everyone was able to get out unharmed.  No one else was injured.  The cause is currently under investigation and no damage estimate was available at press time.
