Firefighter starts new position

       Captain Charlie Fraker completed his first week in the office today after being promoted earlier this month to the position.  Charlie was hired full-time by the department back in 2006 after serving for a little over a year before that as a part-time firefighter.  Charlie's new role will be to assume the position of Deputy Fire Marshal, which holds the rank of Captain.  He will specialize in the field of public education as well as assist in other related duties such as inspections, investigations, and pre-fire planning.  See a related story by clicking HERE.
