Truck strikes utility lines at school

       A food delivery truck struck a low-hanging utility line yesterday afternoon after finishing a drop-off at the West Grove Elementary School on Smith Valley Road.  No one was injured in the incident, however the contact caused the utility pole to break and the line to come down across the top of the truck.  Utility crews spent several hours at the scene restoring service and removing the downed line.  The ensuing traffic back-up did cause a minor rear-end accident where the driver was treated for minor injuries and transported to St. Francis Hospital for evaluation.
