Man injured after car hits pole

A Greenwood man was trapped in his car after hitting a utility pole in the Center Grove area.  Jason A. Miller, 27, was driving west on County Road 700N when he lost control of his car as he approached a stoplight at State Road 135, according to a Johnson County Sheriff's Office report.  The car went through the grass, and the driver side hit a utility pole at 12:17 a.m. Thursday, pinning Miller inside.  He was taken to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, where he was in serious condition Thursday afternoon.  Police took a blood sample from Miller for testing to see if alcohol was involved in the crash, the report said.  (Reprinted with permission from the Daily Journal)
