Las Vegas or bust

    We hadn't been to Las Vegas by ourselves in over a year, so we decided to take a short five-day trip out west for a little rest and relaxation.  The primary purpose of the trip was to "rest up" following the hectic past few weeks that started with the passing of our cat, Ivan and then ending with a two-week journey to Europe.  The weather was incredible with sunny days and highs in the low 100's everyday.  We stayed at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino and had a great room up high facing the pool area.  All in all it was great little trip where we got to spend some quality time together.
