California for a second time

    We enjoyed Palm Springs so much the first time that we decided to go again, less than one month from the first time!  The schedules worked out and the airfare was cheap, so off we went.  We even stayed at the same hotel in Palm Springs, the Caliente Tropics.  The only real difference this time around was that it was HOT, extremely HOT!  Our car thermometer registered 119 degrees one afternoon when we were driving through the Coachella Valley sightseeing.  We also visited the Living Desert wildlife refuge and saw many desert animals in their natural habitat.  Photos from the trip are below.
